Board Certified Internist, Dr. Sally Bissett is a veterinary graduate of the University of Melbourne in Australia with a Master's degree in Small Animal Gastroenterology & Nutrition from Massey University in New Zealand. Dr. Bissett is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM). She completed her residency at The University of Pennsylvania and has 12 years of experience as a small animal internist. Dr. Bissett has worked in academic practice at the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Sydney (Australia) and most recently as an Assistant Professor at North Carolina State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. In addition to her primary professional interests in small animal gastroenterology and general internal medicine, Dr. Sally Bissett enjoys swimming, gardening, reading and spending time with her husband, two daughters, Beagle-cross "Chester" and their cat Cotton.
Board Certified Internist, Talia Guttin, VMD, DACVIM (SAIM) received her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania, which laid the foundation for her love of internal medicine, patient care, and tight-knit relationships with her colleagues and clients. She completed her residency for Internal Medicine at University of Pennsylvania which provided her with exceptional training in communication and technical skills. During her residency, Dr. Guttin won the SCAVMA teaching award for a resident two years in a row. This award is voted on by fourth-year veterinary students.
During her free time, Dr. Guttin likes to make her own pickles, cheese, yogurt, and ice cream. Her first language is Spanish.
