William Griffin, VMD

Co-owner and Medical Director Dr. William Griffin graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania's School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Griffin was on the Dean's List and was the recipient of the Small Animal Medicine Award for high proficiency in canine and feline medicine.

As classmates at the University of Pennsylvania, both Dr. Griffin and Dr. Lindquist were accepted into a Small Animal Medicine and Surgery Internship at the University of Pennsylvania for advanced training in medicine, emergency surgery and critical care. Joining their passion together, they have built The Black Horse Pike Animal Hospital into the region's premier 24 hour emergency and specialty center.

Dr. Griffin, a member of AAHA, AVMA and Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society (VECCS), lives in Pennsylvania with his wife, his daughter, and their cats and dogs.



Christopher Lindquist, VMD

Co-owner and Medical Director Dr. Christopher Lindquist graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania's School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Lindquist graduated Magna cum laude and received the Small Animal Surgery Award for high proficiency in canine and feline surgery.

Dr. Lindquist is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, VECCS and the Veterinary Orthopedic Society (VOS). He lives in Pennsylvania with his wife, sons, dogs and horses and in his free time enjoys sports and fitness, including Russian Kettlebell and Combat Conditioning, of which he is a certified coach and instructor.



Sally Bissett BVSc, MVSc, DACVIM

Board certified internist, Dr. Sally Bissett is a veterinary graduate of the University of Melbourne in Australia with a Master's degree in Small Animal Gastroenterology & Nutrition from Massey University in New Zealand. Dr. Bissett is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM). She completed her residency at The University of Pennsylvania and has 12 years of experience as a small animal internist. Dr. Bissett has worked in academic practice at the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Sydney (Australia) and most recently as an Assistant Professor at North Carolina State University, College of Veterinary Medicine.

In addition to her primary professional interests in small animal gastroenterology and general internal medicine, Dr. Sally Bissett enjoys swimming, gardening, reading and spending time with her husband, two daughters and newly adopted Beagle-cross "Chester".



Megan King VMD, DACVIM (Cardiology)

Megan King, VMD, Diplomate ACVIM (Cardiology) graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. She completed a medical and surgical internship, and then her residency in cardiology, at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital. Dr. King received her board certification in Cardiology in 2006.

Dr. King has expertise and advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of congenital and acquired heart disease, congestive heart failure, pericardial effusion, pulmonary disease, and pleural space disease.



Deborah L'Heureux DVM, DACVR

Deborah L'Heureux DVM, Diplomate ACVR graduated from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. She completed a medical and surgical internship at 2004 in San Diego, California, and then a diagnostic imaging internship at Michigan State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. L'Heureux completed her radiology residency at Iowa State University School of Veterinary Medicine, and is board certified in Radiology.

Dr. L'Heureux has expertise and advanced training in diagnostic ultrasound, radiology, MRI, CT, and nuclear medicine imaging. Her special interests include ultrasound, ultrasound guided tissue sampling, and diagnostic and clinical oncology.



Ian Spiegel, VMD, MHS, DACVD

Dr. Spiegel received his Bachelor's of Science from Muhlenberg College in Allentown PA. He attended The Johns Hopkins School of Public Health and Hygiene where he earned a Masters Degree in health science, (public health) After receiving his veterinary medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, magna cum laude, and a member of the Phi Zeta veterinary honor society, Dr. Spiegel completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. From there he went to the University of California-Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, where he completed a residency in allergy and dermatology. After completing the residency, Dr. Spiegel passed the ACVD credentialing examination for board-certification in dermatology.

Dr. Spiegel is a member of several veterinary-related associations including the American College of Veterinary Dermatology (ACVD), the American Academy of Veterinary Dermatology (AAVD), American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association (NJVMA)and the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association (PVMA). He is also a member of the prestigious human-based association, the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD). He specializes in the diagnosis and management of allergies and diseases affecting an animal's skin, ears, feet and hair coat.

Dr. Spiegel veterinary-related interest includes otology, pyoderma, managing allergies, auto-immune skin disease, parasitology, and dermatology-related pharmacology (topical and oral therapies).



Jacqueline Bryan Watson, DVM, Practice Limited to Dermatology

Dr. Watson was born in Philadelphia and raised in Newtown, PA. Dr. Watson received her veterinary degree from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Watson completed a one-year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Red Bank Animal Hospital, Tinton Falls, NJ. After this internship, Dr. Watson completed rigorous a three-year residency in veterinary dermatology at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Watson is a member of the Phi Zeta veterinary honors society.

Dr. Watson limits her practice to veterinary dermatology and is board eligible. She had recently completed advanced training in intradermal allergy testing, the management of allergic skin diseases, infectious skin diseases (e.g., bacterial, fungal, viral), parasitic skin diseases, autoimmune skin diseases, cutaneous drug reactions, congenital skin diseases, and hormonal-related skin diseases in cats, dogs and horses. Dr. Watson has a particular interest in feline dermatology.

Dr. Watson is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), American Association of Veterinary Dermatology (AAVD), Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association (PVMA) and New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association (NJVMA). Dr. Watson resides with her husband, also a veterinarian, who is pursuing specialty training in small animal surgery.



Tobi Maser Koko, DVM

Dr. Tobi Maser Koko received her Bachelors of Science in Chemistry from American University in Washington, D.C., and her DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. From there, Dr. Maser went on to the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine to complete her post graduate clinical year rotation. Since her rotation, Dr. Maser has worked in several animal hospitals in Pennsylvania and New York, where she has practiced emergency medicine and has lectured technicians in critical care management.

Dr. Maser currently practices preventative and emergency medicine. She is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Maser currently lives in the city with her husband and her dog Osher.



Kristan Slotterback, VMD

Dr. Kristan Slotterback graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. Prior to attending veterinary school, she received an undergraduate degree in Biology from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Before beginning her career in private practice, Dr. Slotterback completed a one year internship in small animal medicine, surgery, and emergency medicine in Newark Delaware. Originally from Pennsylvania, she currently resides in West Deptford with her husband, three dogs, and two guinea pigs. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the gym, reading, scrapbooking, and wine tasting.



Ivan Lutchenkov, DVM

Dr. Ivan Lutchenkov is joining us after three years as an Associate Emergency Staff Veterinarian at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital, Tinton Falls, Hillsborough, and Cherry Hill from Aug 2009-Feb 2012.

Dr. Lutchenkov was granted his doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2006. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor in Animal Science from the University of Maryland, College Park, MD in May 2002.

Dr. Lutchenkov has extensive experience in Emergency Medicine in the greater metropolitan New York City area. He facilitated efficient patient treatment and admission including triage and maintaining client communication at several leading Veterinary Hospitals, including the Animal Specialty Center in Yonkers and AMC in NYC.

He participated in a Surgical Internship Program at New York Veterinary Specialty Center in Farmindale, NY, which is a primarily Surgical Referral Practice and saw many orthopedic cases from July 2007 to December 2007.

Dr. Lutchenkov also completed a Rotating Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care, Internal Medicine, and Surgical Internship at VCA Veterinary Referral Associates in Gaithersburg, MD from June 2006 to July 2007.

Dr. Lutchenkov;s professional interests include Critical Care Medicine, Diagnostic Ultrasound, Neurology, Clinical Pathology, and Ferret Medicine.

His personal interests are photography, oil painting, bicycling, computers, electronics, gadgets, and machines.



Fred S. Cuccinello, DVM

Dr. Cuccinello received both his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees from the University of Florida. He has practiced companion animal medicine and surgery for 28+ years in North and South Jersey, including 20+ years owning and operating his own practice.

Dr. Cuccinello's professional interests include allergy/immunology, dermatology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, internal medicine, neurology, preventative care and zoonotic diseases.

He lives in South Jersey with his wife, 2 children, 3 dogs named Ruby, Michelle, and Bridgette. His personal interests include spending time with his family, watching sports especially college football, basketball, baseball, computers, reading and listening to music.



Janice Goode, DVM

Dr. Janice Goode received her DVM from the University of Wisconsin in 1994. Prior to attending veterinary school, she received her Bachelors degree in Science in Biology with a minor in chemistry from Florida State University in 1988.

Dr. Goode has been practicing for the past 15 years in New Jersey. She currently sees healthy and sick patients by appointment and is pleased to offer extensive client education. Her philosophy is the more information a pet owner has the more they can care for their furry family members.

Dr. Goode is a member of the American veterinary Medicine Association.

Originally from Florida, Dr. Goode lives in South Jersey with her three cats and dog Cody. Her interests include roller and ice skating, reading and sewing.



Jennifer Morris, VMD

Since her graduation from the University of Pennsylvania's School of Veterinary Medicine in 1999, Dr. Jennifer Morris has been committed to providing the dogs and cats of Southern New Jersey with the most compassionate level of veterinary care. Known for her exceptional knowledge of canine and feline reproduction and pediatrics, Dr. Morris works vigorously with a large number of breeders in the Washington Township area to ensure optimal wellness for all of our community's dogs, cats, puppies and kittens. Together, the team of doctors at Black Horse Pike Animal Hospital is looking forward to always providing the best care for your best friend.



Sandi Ryan, Hospital Manager

After spending 28 years as a Business Executive in Northern New Jersey, Sandi decided to move to South Jersey and follow her passion for animal welfare. Undertaking a successful career transition, Sandi has proudly managed The Black Horse Pike Animal Hospital since 2005.

Sandi has incorporated her love of animals into every aspect of her life, as she is an active volunteer for several rescue groups, helping to find unwanted or abused dogs new homes and new lives. When not involved with the day to day management of the hospital, or volunteering, Sandi enjoys the company of her own 6 dogs, Bailey, Schotize, Beauty, Kelly, Finney and Danny Boy.



Jill Smart, Referral Coordinator

While attending Camden County College, Jill participated in an internship at Archway Behavioral Health Center working with disabled adults. It was there where her interest in Pet Therapy was sparked and her love of animals became an integral part of her life. After celebrating the birth of her twins, Jessica and Jordan, Jill focused her energy caring for her children at home, until 2008 when she returned to a career incorporating her love of animals. Originally hired as a Receptionist, Jill has proudly taken on the role of Referral Coordinator after a little over a year with the hospital. When not involved with managing patient records and professional communication for the hospital, Jill enjoys spending time with her kids and husband Ed, playing with her dogs Max and Hailey, and shopping in Haddonfield!
